Sodium Deoxycholate, the sodium salt of deoxycholic acid, is often employed in mesotherapy injections, particularly for targeting fat cells and potentially addressing cellulite. Deoxycholic acid, a primary component of Sodium Deoxycholate, specifically targets adipose fat cells. It induces lipolysis, rupturing fat cells and prompting adipocyte cell death.
